I’m starting with my first attempt of growing Ipomea batatas or sweet potato or American potato.
It’s different from growing Solanum tuberosum. This kind of root is put directly under the soil in late march, maybe cutting each root in few parts carring a little new sprouts.
Ipomea batatas is to put in water and is to wait that produces new roots. At this point new branches come out and will develope little plants.
These little new plants will be cut off from the root and put into soil, when out is away from frost, above all during the night.
sophisticated instruments, directly from NASA…
put in to jar with water, hanging with toothpicks.
this is (or would be…) the side to put in to water to produce roots.
And now I’m waiting for developments.
Soon new updates.
