Bee upon mint flower.

Our veggies need insects to pollinate them: broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, collards, cucumbers, eggplants, kale, melons, okra, onions, peas, peppers, pumpkins, radishes, squash and tomatoes.

Tomatoes produce more fruit when visited by a bumblebee, and with-out  bees we don’t have squash.

For recall pollinators plant:

Sweet Peas: Lathyrus odoratus (pisello odoroso)

Purple Cornflower: Echinacea purpurea

To attract them plant:

Catmint: Nepeta cataria (erba gatta o menta gatta) (repels Aphids and Squash Bugs)
